I don't know if I'm delusional or if this is made up or not, but I've been having these recurring dreams where I'm walking on a beach that's constantly changing colors, and I'm talking to a boy my age named James, who has been the only solid thing in my dreams.

James is tall, white, with dark hair, green eyes and freckles on his nose specifically. (I'll draw him don't worry). He's decently muscular (but in a realistic way), but a weird thing is that he has acne on his forehead and on one side of his face...

So it's not like he's "perfect" in my dreams... He's very human in my dreams, and every time he comes to me, his acne is in different processes of healing.

When we first "met" in my dream a few days ago, he told me that I look familiar and asked if we've ever met before. Of course, I said no, so we started talking about things as if we were in public and had randomly ran into each other. James asked for my last name, but my brain thought this was so realistic that I chose not to tell him (because ordinarily, I wouldn't tell a stranger my last name).

James has told me in his own words that he lives in Minnesota, and that he's near the Canadian border. He has told me that he has a little redheaded 8 year old brother named Kyle, and that he wants to become an animator someday and loves to draw. (But his backup plan is to become a nurse).

He also said that he's on the track team, and showed me a scrape on is elbow (that I also saw in several states of healing).

We talked briefly about some regrets we've had in life, and he said that one of his biggest regrets was losing his v-card to a hoe who cheated on him, to which I replied: "I'm sorry you had to go through that". I could see the little smile on his face from that; the reactions were so real... He shook his head and shrugged a little, laughing a bit and saying. "Ah... Thanks, man. I'm over it, though."

Like bro.....

I can perfectly visualize him in my head, down to the tiniest details, like how one night he turned up and his hair was slightly damp and unkempt, so I'll of course draw him. I can hear his voice, which is unlike anyone I know. I can hear his accent, which is "northern". He's clearly from Minnesota as he says he is.

Every day I have these dreams, I wake up tired as if I wasn't actually sleeping (or resting while sleeping).

I don't even have dreams about my own family; at least I can't remember them. The dreams I CAN remember are usually nightmares, or have heavy emotions tied to them.

There isn't a s*xual component to these dreams; no emotion tied to them. I'm not necessarily in love with him, nor is he in love with me. I haven't touched him physically, not even like grabbing his hand or anything, or a handshake, or anything. We're just two people trying to get to know each other slowly, and it's been going on several days.

We've "met" 4 times and talked for about an hour each time.

I believe he's a real person because he's so realistic that it's hard to say he isn't. You guys know damn well that I can't write to save my life, so James isn't something my imagination could conjure up in a split second like that...

What should I do? I want to know more about what's going on, but no source has told me what this is or what this means.

There have been sources stating that he's a "demon" in disguise. There have been sources stating that he's my "soulmate". But I don't think either of those are true.

I'm just confused.
